Prayers is in Heaven
On 11/11 of this year, our little Prayers (cat) went to meet Jesus. After rescuing her from our old church, we took her in and cared for her... After finding her a temporary mother, another kitten to grow up with (Patches, who later ran away), lived in my parents house, and then traveled over to Richmond Texas to live with us. After only 7 weeks of living in our brand new home, she too ran away for almost 2 years.
Then last year in August, little Prayers returned to us! Somehow, she found her way back to our garage (away from the coyotes that howl behind our house).... and spent her last year with us and the kids. Joshua & Eliana loved playing with her everyday. Prayers let Joshua torture her by picking her up and carrying her around. The first thing our kids would do was look for her as soon as the garage door opened. Those were some great memories. We will miss her dearly, but we're thanking God for bringing her back after we thought she had been eaten by a wild animal or starved to death 2 yrs ago.
Chong & I are busy with the kids, playing, feeding, and teaching... The best part of our lives now is knowing that Joshua & Eliana will one day (hopefully) remember how to love God and love one another. But in the meantime, it's "No Joshua, don't push your sister", and "No Eliana, don't take Joshua's toys"... and of course "Share!". We are loving our hectic schedules, sleepless nights and thinning patience... God is so Great.... We have babysitters for date nights! =)
